Day Shift Mini Review

 Day Shift is a Netflix original movie which stars Jamie Foxx, Dave Franco, Meagan Good, and Snoop Dogg. This movie is a horror-comedy and is fun for fans who love those two genres. Now, the story is about this pool cleaner named Bud who cleans pools by day, but at night he hunts vampires. After talking to his wife, she hits him with the moving news and has to get the money to cover for their daughter's tuition and dental all within a 7-day limit. With that limit, Bud calls up a member from the vampire union to help him get back in the fold of the union. While discussing with his boss, Bud gets assigned to the day shift. The boss wants a rep of the union to tag along with him if he messes up. The rep's name is Seth and he goes with buds on hunts. Meanwhile, the head vampire is on the hunt for Bud as well as he took something away from her and now, she's trying to return the favor by taking something away from him. Overall, this movie was funny and had some really good fight sequences. Plus, some survival instincts as well if this was to happen for real. The whole cast did their thing, and it was really enjoyable. Day Shift is a easily 3/5 which is an average good time. For those, who are looking for some horror but in a comedy form Day Shift is a good recommendation.
