NBA Live 19: The Rise Processing

NBA Live is once again on the rise! At EA Play Live 19 was announced and it excited the NBA Live community to the fullest. I was so excited once the trailer was released and was ready to play that day. With everything that was in the trailer, it reached a high point of the simulation basketball game and where the series can go from here. In this year's game, we will be introduced to the Real Player Motion feature. Real Player Motion is the same feature that both Madden and Fifa share.

A quick definition of RPM is CPU generated superstars like Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, or Paul George will have the same real-life counterparts in-game as they do in a real NBA game. We all know that animations are choppy at some points but with Real Player Motion, animations will be more smoother and fluent. Live 19 will also have a new Icon feature. Remember Live 18 had signature abilities? This year's game we will be introduced to Icons, Icons are sort of signature abilities to the next level. For example, a wing shooter who wants to get rebounds and be more effective on defense. They can put that specific icon on and be more of a threat on the court. Icons are swappable too, so there no worries on if a created player has to stay with a certain icon for their specific playstyle.

There will be new courts, gear, and kicks. Some of the new courts are Jordan Quai 45 in Paris, France, The Tenement in Manila, Phillippines, and Rio Favela Court in Rio De Janerio, Brazil. All these courts are international, so NBA Live is taking the game all across the world which is a major move and probably more on the way. Here is a video of all of the courts below.

Also, a new game mode is featured and it is called "Build Your Squad". "Build Your Squad" is similar to one of EA's biggest classic NBA Street Vol. 2 which featured "Be A Legend". "Be A Legend" was a game mode where a created player took their team all across the U.S. to take on street legends and NBA legends. "Build Your Squad" is basically the same thing but this time after a team beats legends, they can take their squad online and compete against friends to see who has the better squad. That's competition at it's finest!

With all that the NBA Live team has done, they have really put the work in and took their time to take this franchise to the next level and the future is bright and the rise is processing! Can't wait to see what's ahead for NBA Live.
