BG23's Piston Debut

Blake Griffin is one of the most highly dominant Power Forwards in the NBA today. Griffin spent his whole career with the Los Angeles Clippers, which he was the #1 overall draft pick in the '09 NBA draft, 5x all-star, and 2010 dunk contest winner. Blake is known for his explosive dunks and exciting plays. He also had great teammates with the likes of, Chris Paul, JJ Redick, Jamal Crawford, Deandre Jordan, etc.
With a championship coach in Doc Rivers, that team made a difference in the Clippers organization. However, this offseason there were some big moves with LAC. CP3 decided to go join James Harden and the Houston Rockets. While Jamal Crawford made his move to the Twin City in Minnesota. JJ Redick also decided to go on with his career and trust the process in Philadelphia. The only ones who were left were Blake and Deandre.
The trade deadline is approaching and with all speculation with DJ, no one expected LAC to trade Blake, especially what they said they were going to do with him. Although the shocking trade that the Los Angeles Clippers made with Detroit will it be worth it?
When the trade went down LAC agreed to send Blake, Willie Reed, and Brice Johnson to Detroit, in exchange for Tobias Harris, Avery Bradley, and Boban Marjanovic, plus the Clippers got the likes of two 1st and 2nd round draft picks in the trade. Last night BG made his eastern conference debut with the Detroit Pistons. He ended up with 24pts, 10rebs, and 5ast shooting 6/12 from the field.
Blake is the first Piston since Grant Hill with 20pts 10rebs and 5ast in 1994. Blake was amazing in his debut and came in with determination. Now, with BG in the motor city expect to see some damage in the eastern conference with the new twin tower duo of Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond. Detroit is in the 9th seed and a 1/2 game out of the 8th seed just under the 76ers and with the help of BG's leadership, the Pistons can make a run to get a spot in the playoffs. Detroit is determined to be one of the top teams in the league. So, let's see if they can do it.

Don't sleep on Detroit! #DetroitBasketball #DetroitProud
