Hustle Mini Review

Hustle is an Netfilx original film and it's a basketball film. The story follows a scout for the Philidelphia 76ers by the name of Stanley Sugerman and he goes all across the globe to find the next superstar of the franchise. After traveling all around the world, he finds himself in Spain and finds the player he needs. The player is a street ball hustler who goes by the name of Bo Cruz. Bo is a 22-year-old construction worker, but when Stanley gets a hold of him, little does he know his whole life is about to change. Fast forward a little bit, Bo goes to train with Stanley and they eventually get an invite to the NBA Draft Combine. Now, this movie really gives a deep look of the business side and recreational side of the NBA. It really feels like the audience is actually there making the decisions with the team. The training is motivational and what we see on screen is probably half of what an actual workout of an NBA player goes through. Overall, Hustle is a solid 3/5 for a basketball movie. Commend Netflix on producing a good film.
