Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc Finale Review

The Entertainment District Arc of Demon Slayer wrapped up this week and it was a really deep finale because there was the aftermath of the fight between Gyutaro and Daki vs. Tengen, Tanjiro, Zenistu, and Inosuke. In this episode, we start of seeing what happened at the end of the last episode as the section of the district was completely damaged from all of destruction everybody did in the fight. Next, Tanjiro's getting up after being saved by Nezuko and the way that she saved him is great because she has the power to heal by burning the poison, it's interesting because with their father being a sun breather, how did she get that unique healing ability? After that, both of them check on Tengen, Zensitu, and Inosuke. Now, let's just be honest on how Zensitu really led the charge during the fight and did it while sleeping the whole way when Tanjiro was dealing with Gyutaro. So, even though he was sleep it was amazing seeing him in that space like that. Once Zensitu tells Tanjiro and Nezuko where Inosuke is located they go find and heal him as well with Tengen ahead. Here's where it gets deep when Tanjiro and Nezuko find Gyutaro and Daki, they start arguing about how the fight should've went down. Gyutaro's basically yelling at Daki out of frustration and Tanjiro is explaining to him that the things he was saying aren't true. Daki doesn't want to hear it from Tanjiro and calls on her brother to do something. As we get into their story, Gyutaro wasn't wanted by his mother and other people because of his appearance. He also explained that his mother was even trying to kill him because he was a disgrace. Gyutaro would go to the lengths of collecting and eating bugs, mice, and other insects in order to survive. So, it was rough for him but when Daki came along things changed for the better. Lets go back a little bit, before Daki faded away as they were going back and forth Gyutaro called Daki by her real name which is Ume. Gyutaro was thinking about how things seemed to change once Ume came along. He said that she was his pride and joy and always needed to protect her. Also, he showed her how to collect and then one day she stabbed a customer and once he got home, she was found burned alive. Immediately, Gyutaro took matters into his own hands and instantly kills the people who burned Ume. Then, another Upper Six comes and offers them to become demons but only if Muzan chooses them. This became interesting as well because was this the Upper Six before them and when they became a combined Upper Six did the other one rank up? The first Upper Six tells them they were chosen and made Gyutaro and Ume demons. Now, we got the answer to the question which was how did they become demons? and the answers was to stop living where they weren't wanted and to get revenge on everybody who did them wrong. Hearing Gyutaros story was an eye-opener because no one should have to live the way that he did before Ume came along. To end things off, another Hashira wants to fight again but he declines and retires. Tengen tells him about Tanjiro and once word got out to the master, he got excited and thinks maybe there's a chance once Tanjiro hit his full potential of becoming a Hashira. Finally, Tanjiro, Nezuko, Inosuke, and Zenitsu are comforting each other after everything that they've been through. This finale was deep, got some questions answered, and had a little bit a peace as well.  This arc is probably the best arc so far in the series and it can only get better and better from here with Season 3 coming as we go into the Swordsmith Village Arc.
