To The Mamba

As we watched a player evolve, change and take the game by storm, we were in awe on how somebody like that can have an impact on the game. We saw a 17-year-old kid straight out of high school become not only one of the greatest Lakers but one of the greatest players to ever play. 5 NBA championships, MVP, 18x All-Star. Even though there were a lot of people who had hatred, we respected his game that was displayed. As fans, we haven’t seen someone equal to MJ until the Mamba came along. Kobe was the Michael Jordan of our era and there will be another Kobe Bryant. Off the court, Kobe was just getting started in his post-playing career. Winning an Oscar for his animated short Dear Basketball, being an advocate for women’s basketball, and all of the other projects he went on to do. He was a family man, father, coach, and giving back to the community. Coaching Gigi and having his own academy was something that he wanted to do so he can teach the next generation ins and outs of the game or whatever they decided to do. All of the things the students at the Mamba Sports Academy learned from Kobe is something that they’ll remember forever. The Mamba Mentality is more than a mindset, it’s a lifestyle. The Mamba Mentality is something special because if someone wants to do something and are passionate about it, they can go after it and do it to the best of their ability no matter what anybody says. Kobe defined the Mamba Mentality on and off the court. Kobe Bryant impacted the game and inspired generations all around the world with more to come and with that we’ll forever cherish that in our hearts. Kobe will never be forgotten and his legacy will continue with The Mamba Mentality going strong as ever.
